Biography
Dr Anna Mislang is a medical oncologist at Icon Cancer Centre Adelaide. Dr Mislang graduated from the Philippines’ St Luke’s College of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and completed postgraduate training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. She subsequently completed advanced medical oncology training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre and Royal Darwin Hospital. In 2017 Dr Mislang completed formal training in geriatric oncology at the Nuovo Ospedale-Santo Stefano, Instituto Toscano Tumori in Prato, Italy. More recently, she was the clinical fellow of Professor Michael Brown at the RAH Cancer Clinical Trials Unit, where she presided over numerous Phase III immuno-oncology clinical trials and co-designed innovative research proposals.
Dr Mislang is passionate about the care of older patients with cancer as well as the prediction and management of treatment-related toxicities. Her clinical experience covers a broad range of solid tumour malignancies, with special clinical interest in breast cancer, lung cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, genitourinary cancer, geriatric cancer and melanoma.
