Biography
Dr Dominic Lunn is an experienced radiation oncologist at Icon Cancer Centre sites in Auchenflower, Redland and Greenslopes. Dr Lunn attended the University of Queensland as an undergraduate and received First Class Honours in molecular biology before spending several years working in medical research both in Australia and overseas.
In 2000, he enrolled in the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland, and graduated with Honours. He began training in radiation oncology in 2008 was awarded fellowship to the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in early 2012.
He subsequently completed a fellowship in palliative care at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane and worked as a palliative care specialist and locum radiation oncologist until late 2013 when he was involved in setting up the radiation oncology service at Icon Cancer Centre sites at Gold Coast University Hospital and Redland.
