Biography

Dr Minjae Lah is an experienced radiation oncologist at Icon Cancer Centre Greenslopes, Springfield and North Lakes. As a bilingual radiation oncologist, Dr Lah can speak to patients about cancer treatment in their own language and converse in both English and Korean.

Dr Lah is a graduate of the University of Queensland and undertook residency training at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. After completing specialist radiation oncology training in Liverpool, New South Wales, Dr Lah returned to Queensland. Since 2004, she has been practicing as a private radiation oncologist in Brisbane.

Dr Lah is an executive director of the Australasian Society for Breast Disease, and a senior lecturer at the University of Queensland. She is the Radiation Oncologist Lead for Training and Education for Icon Group. In 2018 she obtained a palliative medicine fellowship to extend her care of cancer patients in both curative and palliative settings. Dr Lah is Chair of the ANZ Palliative Radiation Oncology Interest Group.

Her clinical experience covers a broad range of solid tumour malignancies with a special interest in breast cancer, lung cancer, skin cancer and prostate cancer as well as stereotactic radiation therapy and palliative radiation therapy.
