Biography

Dr Colleen May is a dual-trained clinical haematologist consulting at Icon Cancer Centre Rockingham. In 2005, she completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Queensland and subsequently commenced specialist haematology training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital and Queensland Medical Laboratories (QML). She then undertook a general haematology fellow position at Royal Perth Hospital. Dr May is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA).

Dr May is experienced in caring for a wide range of malignant and non-malignant blood disorders including chronic leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and myeloproliferative neoplasms. In addition to her practice at Icon Rockingham, she also consults at Bunbury Haematology, Medical Haematology Perth and WA Specialist Clinic.
