Dr Dominique (Yoo Young) Lee is dedicated to providing her patients with the highest level of care to achieve the best possible outcome.

Biography

Dr Dominique (Yoo Young) Lee is a consultant radiation oncologist at Icon Cancer Centre Greenslopes. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) at the University of Otago before commencing specialist radiation oncology training at Auckland City Hospital and Sydney’s Liverpool Hospital. In 2014, Dr Lee became a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) and subsequently completed a clinical research fellowship at Westmead Hospital, investigating stereotactic ablative radiation therapy (SABR) treatment for liver, spine and bone metastases.

Dr Lee maintains a strong interest in clinical research with a particular focus on stereotactic ablative radiation therapy (SABR). She is an active member of several leading cancer trial groups including Australasian Gastro-Intestinal Cancer Trials Group (AGITG) and Trans Tasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG). In collaboration with TROG, Dr Lee is the trial chair of an international clinical study TROG 17.03 (LARK). Recently she has joined Cancer Australia’s National Pancreatic Cancer Roadmap Steering Group as the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) representative.

Her clinical experience covers a broad range of solid tumour malignancies with special clinical interest in lymphoma, gastrointestinal cancer, hepatobiliary cancer, skin cancers and palliative care. Dr Lee can converse in English and Korean, and looks forward to supporting patients in a language they are familiar with.
