Biography

Dr Tony Calogero is a dual-trained clinical and laboratory haematologist. He has practiced in Perth (currently at Royal Perth Hospital and SJOG Midland Public and Private Hospital) and Melbourne (The Alfred, Monash Medical Centre).

He has a broad range of expertise in both malignant and non-malignant haematology, with special clinical interests in multiple Myeloma, myeloproliferative neoplasms and thrombosis/haemostasis.

Dr Calogero’s academic interests lay particularly in the teaching of undergraduate health professionals, as well as junior doctors. He is also actively engaged in clinical research, as a primary and sub investigator in a number of clinical trials.
